Apple Ford Lincoln & Apple Insurance of Columbia Walk in Mt. Airy Breast Cancer Awareness 5K

On Sunday, team members from both Apple Ford Lincoln and Apple Insurance of Columbia got up extra early to participate in the American Cancer Society’s “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” 5K in Mt. Airy, Maryland.
The Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks are one of the largest network of breast cancer awareness events in the United Sates and they unite nearly 300 communities annually.
This year's event was the fifth consecutive walk in Mt. Airy and, according to the organizers, was the largest to date.
As of this writing, the nearly $70,000 has been raised thus far, virtually all of which will be used to fund breast cancer research, treatment, and awareness efforts.
