Apple Ford Lincoln is pleased to sponsor the Community Foundation of Howard County's 2015 Annual Dinner on Thursday, November 12th at Turf Valley.

This year's theme is a "Celebration of Philanthropy" and will feature the honoring of one of the most important people in our community - Mrs. Vivian "Millie" Bailey.

Mrs. Bailey will be presented with the 2015 Individual Philanthropist of the Year Award for her countless efforts over the years both in and out of the Howard County Public School system, where Mrs. Bailey, even at 97, continues to volunteer her time with students at Running Brook Elementary School.

Mrs. Bailey has long been known as a leader, community activist, and advocate for education issues.

Most recently, Mrs. Bailey was invited to meet both President Obama and Vice President Joe Biden in the Oval Office. President Obama was not the first president Mrs. Bailey had met...it turns out Mrs. Bailey was previously recognized for her efforts by President Bill Clinton.

The event should be a lot of fun. For tickets, click here.
